Signed from Aberdeen for £70,000 in February 1996, Craig has made several first-team appearances, but was unable to command a regular place until last season. Sadly, injury saw him lose his first-team place once more.

With the arrival of Brian Reid in the summer, Craig has been unable to fight his way back into the side. But he has taken almost permanent place on the bench. This at least has seen him play periodically, while at the same time keeping up the pressure for places in the centre of defence.
